Beement brings into one app what is scattered today across WhatsApp, Doodle and Splitwise: agreeing on a date, picking a place, splitting the costs and keeping the group together. The app is live on iOS, Android and the web.
Planning a night out for six people takes three apps and a hundred messages. Each one solves a fragment, none of them talk to each other.
Expense tools ignore group decisions. Polling tools ignore everything that happens after the date is set. The group is left stitching it together by hand.
That work always falls on the same person: the one who chases everyone, fronts the money and then has to ask for it back. Plenty of plans die not from lack of appetite, but because nobody is willing to play that part again.
This is not a mockup: it runs, it is published on both stores, and it is built in-house.
iOS and Android live on the stores, with a backend and real-time infrastructure maintained in-house.
Per-moment chat and persistent group chat, date and location polls, shared calendar, photo albums, automatic reminders.
Expense splitting with automatic balances and minimisation of the number of transfers between members.
The organizer sets a price, the guest pays by card and joins the moment right away. Stripe checkout, membership verified server-side.
Consumer subscription. The core stays free: that is what brings groups in.
A 2% commission on every seat sold, included in the price the guest pays.
Every moment created invites several people, who become organizers in turn. Growth is carried by usage.
The market is held by single-purpose tools. None of them covers the full cycle.
